AKIPRESS.COM – Hunting competitions were held in the Kyrchyn Gorge on September 2–5 as part of the 6th World Nomad Games.
The program included hunting with a hawk, taigan dog racing, hunting with a falcon, hunting with a golden eagle, traditional archery on horseback (Kyrgyz style), traditional archery on horseback (Hungarian style), Turkish archery, and Kyrgyz archery.

Golden eagle hunting:
1st place – Abdykadyrov Tugolbay, Kyrgyzstan, 50,000 soms;
2nd place – Kushkarov Arman, Kazakhstan, 40,000 soms;
3rd place – Shamurat uulu Bakyt, Kyrgyzstan, 30,000 soms.
18 participants from 8 countries took part in the competition.
Falcon hunting:
1st place – Shamurat uuulu Bakyt, Kyrgyzstan, 50,000 soms;
2nd place – Babazhan Bakdoolot, Kazakhstan, 40,000 soms;
3rd place – Kenzhetaev Erlan, Kazakhstan, 30,000 soms.
10 participants from 5 countries took part in the competition.
Hawk hunting:
1st place – Jalgasuly Serikbolsun, Kazakhstan, 50,000 soms;
2nd place – Kudaiberdiev Adylbek, Kyrgyzstan, 40,000 soms;
3rd place – Baktybek uulu Toilubai, Kyrgyzstan, 30,000 soms.
10 participants from 4 countries took part in the competition.
Taigan dog racing:
1st place – Ravshanbek Kurbanov, Uzbekistan, 50,000 soms;
2nd place – Chatkalbai Joldoshov, Kyrgyzstan, 40,000 soms;
3rd place – Azizjan Kerimov, Uzbekistan, 30,000 soms.
