Kyrgyzstan and Russia conclude air defense command-post exercise in Balykchy

AKIPRESS.COM – A command-post exercise involving the air defense forces of Kyrgyzstan and Russia has concluded at the Edelweiss training center in Balykchy, the Ministry of Defense reports.

Participants reviewed the results of the exercise, assessed the work carried out and discussed ways to further improve coordination between the air defense forces on duty.

The exercise allowed the participants to practice coordination in accordance with the approved plan and improve the practical skills of command bodies and duty forces of the Joint Regional Air Defense System.

Following the exercise, areas for further improving cooperation between the Kyrgyz and Russian air defense forces were identified.
