May ARTWALK Opening Reception

Summer is (mostly) here and that means the Art Walk is back for a whole new season. Join ART 321 and a host of other downtown businesses as the Art Walk gathers enthusiasts from all walks of life for a night of community, creativity, food, drinks, music and, yes, a whole lot of art. The Art Walk begins at 5:30 p.m. in Downtown Casper and Art 321 itself is hosting an opening reception featuring a brand new exhibit from Carli Holcombe and Shane Swenson.

Stage III is presenting its rendition of “A Few Good Men,” happening May 1–17 at the Stage III Community Theatre, located at 900 N. Center St.

“This Broadway hit about the trial of two Marines for complicity in the death of a fellow Marine at Guantanamo Bay sizzles on stage,” the event page states. “The Navy lawyer, a callow young man more interested in softball games than the case, expects a plea bargain and a cover-up of what really happened. Prodded by a female member of his defense team, the lawyer eventually makes a valiant effort to defend his clients and, in so doing, puts the military mentality and the Marine code of honor on trial.”
