CASPER, Wyo. — Saturday is here once again, and with it comes a slew of events and activities happening all throughout town! It’s a busy day in Casper, with a variety of things happening for people of all ages. From two different garden parties to a brew crawl and The Wizard of Oz on the big screen, this is everything happening Saturday in the Oil City!

Art on the Go is presenting its monthly Second Saturday Coffee, Cafe & Art Walk on Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m.

“Each month, from 9 a.m. to noon, local artists bring creativity to your favorite downtown coffee spots—Blue Ridge Coffee (Downtown), Copper Cup Coffee Company, Metro Coffee Company (Downtown), CitiWerks Cafe & Coworking, Wind City Books, Scarlow’s Art & Coffee & Little Things Coffee Shop located inside Bookin It,” the event page states. “You’ll find a rotating lineup of talented local artists at each café, working on their craft and offering artwork for sale. This is your chance to watch art come to life, chat with the artists about their process, and maybe even try your hand at painting! Come sip some local brews, explore new art, and support the creative energy that makes our community shine. Whether you’re an art lover, a coffee enthusiast, or just looking for something fun to do—this event is for you! Support local coffee. Support local art. Support Casper.”

Garden Party at Urban Thistle

Have you ever been to a garden party? Well, now’s your chance, thanks to Urban Thistle. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Urban Thistle is hosting a party of its own, and you’re invited.

“Join us as we kick off the garden season and celebrate community!” the event page states. “We will have a few local vendors selling plant and garden related items, music to make you smile, and staff will be on hand to share our vision for the future. Register to volunteer! Check out our new community space, ‘Ground-Up Coffee.’ Support the farm by purchasing some starter plants.”

Speaking of Garden Parties, David Street Station is hosting one of its own, and you’re invited to that, too! It’s happening from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“Grab your moms, mom friends, wives and treat them to a special afternoon!” the event page states. “At our Mother’s Day Garden Party we will have vendors with the perfect gifts, live music, food and beverages and a tent to do a craft together! WY Knot Pretzel Co. and Heirloom and Native will be there for food options and Joey Patterson will be on stage! Don’t miss out on a perfect opportunity to celebrate Mother’s Day!”

Spring Brew Crawl

Black Tooth Brewery and a host of other bars and breweries are hosting a Spring Brew Crawl on Saturday, beginning at noon.

“Casper, You know what time it is!” the event page states. “We are staying true to tradition and hosting our first Brew Crawl of 2026 on the second weekend in May! The brewing community is so excited to host you all starting right at noon! Visit 4 breweries, get your passports stamped and be entered into a drawing to win! Each brewery will be giving away a different prize so make sure to follow all of our pages to see where you want to end your crawl! Remember to arrange travel plans to and from your destinations and please crawl responsibly!”

Flashback Cinema: The Wizard of Oz

She’ll get you, her pretty. And your little dog, too! Studio City Mesa and Flashback Cinema are partnering together once again to present the perennial classing The Wizard of Oz on the big screen, happening Saturday and Sunday at 1:35 p.m. at Studio City Mesa.

“Before there was Wicked, there was The Wizard of Oz,” the event page states. “Follow the yellow brick road with Dorothy and her friends in this beloved Technicolor musical. With Judy Garland as Dorothy (‘Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore…’), Billie Burke as Glinda the Good Witch of the North (‘Are you a good witch or a bad witch?’) and Margaret Hamilton as the Wicked Witch of the West.”
