CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper Theater Company’s latest production about a husband and wife’s decades-long endeavor to run a restaurant in the desert, “Wally’s Cafe,” opens May 30. Nick Johnson and Angela Santistevan are the stars of the play, originally produced in the 80’s and written by Sam Bobrick and Ron Clark.
The story follows Wally and his wife Louise through the years running the beleaguered restaurant 1940 to 1981. The restaurant is Wally’s dream, but not exactly Louise’s, who must cope with coyotes and living in a giant hamburger burn, according the Theater Company’s Facebook page.
Tickets are $15 for seniors or $17 adults and can be found on the company’s official website or bought with cash or check at the Casper Senior Center, located at 1841 E. 4th St.
