The body of a fisherman that had disappeared from a Maumelle park on Thursday was found Friday, according to a social media post from Maumelle police.
The person, who was not identified, disappeared around 3:08 p.m. Thursday and was suspected possibly drowned near the boat ramp at Park on the River, Maumelle police said in a post on Facebook.
In an update at 1:50 p.m. Friday, police said the man’s body had been recovered. The post did not identify the man.
The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, Pulaski County sheriff’s office and the North Little Rock Fire Department collaborated in the search, the post says.
