Victim named in fatal shooting near North Little Rock park | The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

North Little Rock police on Tuesday identified a man shot dead Monday evening near a park.

Officers responding around 6:30 p.m. to a report of a shooting found Charles Dolphus, 32, of North Little Rock lying on the ground shot in the 1500 block of West 20th Street, a police news release states. He died of his wounds at the scene.

By Tuesday afternoon, police had yet to publicly identify a suspect in Dolphus’ killing.

The address given in the release is on the northwest corner of Frank M. Witkowski Park in North Little Rock.
