CASPER, Wyo. — Retired NFL linebacker and former University of Wyoming Cowboy Logan Wilson is hosting another round of youth football camps in Casper and Laramie this summer. He’ll be returning to his hometown in the Oil City for camp June 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Wilson’s third annual youth football camp caters to kids entering grades 1–8 who are looking to hone their skills on the gridiron. Instruction will include lectures, skill stations, contests and non-contact games, according to the camp’s website.
Kids will be placed in age-appropriate groups where they can receive more dedicated instruction from each coach. In addition to valuable lessons to take onto the field, campers will leave with a souvenir autograph card, a limited-edition T-shirt and a group photo with Wilson.
Only 450 spots are available for each camp. To register for Casper’s camp, see the registration page on the Logan Wilson Football Camp website here.
Registration begins at $95 per camper, but financial assistance is available through a camp scholarship that can be requested at loganwevents@gmail.com.
Camp revenue will benefit the Brooks Joshua Anderson Foundation, which is searching for cause and cure for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, as well as Natrona County High School Athletics and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming.
