Fargo officer named North Dakota’s Drug Recognition Expert of the Year

BISMARCK, N.D. (KVRR) —  Fargo Police Officer Josh Marlow has been named North Dakota’s Drug Recognition Expert of the Year.

The award was handed out Monday during the Vision Zero Partner Conference in Bismarck.

The award recognizes a law enforcement officer who demonstrates exceptional dedication to traffic safety through excellence in conducting Drug Recognition Expert evaluations.

Marlow’s specialized training allows him to identify and evaluate drug-impaired drivers using evidence-based methods.

“I’m incredibly honored to receive this award,” said Officer Josh Marlow. “Traffic safety is a responsibility I take seriously every day, and this recognition reflects the support of my department, my team and our shared commitment to keeping North Dakota roads safe.”
