Delaware Whiskey Festival July 25th with a discount for Delaware LIVE readers.
WILMINGTON — The Delaware Whiskey Festival will return for its second year July 25, bringing more than 50 craft whiskeys, regional distillers and a charitable mission to The Venue on Lancaster Avenue.
The event will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Venue, 2411 Lancaster Ave., Wilmington. A VIP early access option will offer whiskey collectors and enthusiasts additional tasting time and access to a tasting lounge.
Organizers describe the festival as an upscale tasting event designed to showcase Delaware and regional craft distillers while also supporting local charities, arts organizations and small business initiatives.
“We’re amplifying Delaware’s craft heritage,” said Trey Clay, marketing director for the festival. “It’s a luxury tasting experience that gives back — supporting local makers, artisans, nonprofits, and capturing the attention of whiskey lovers everywhere.”
The festival is expected to feature a hand-picked lineup of craft whiskeys, along with a sophisticated social atmosphere aimed at both serious whiskey fans and casual guests interested in learning more about regional spirits.
Organizers also are positioning the event as a larger community and business opportunity. The festival is expected to draw digital and press coverage, including social media promotion, foodie influencers and local media attention.
Vendor and sponsorship opportunities remain available, but organizers said space is limited. Interested brands and businesses should inquire by July 15.
The Delaware Whiskey Festival is a 21-and-over event. Organizers are encouraging elevated casual attire.
