CASPER, Wyo. – Casper College is offering a new “Art of Sound” certificate program that offers hands-on experience with their state-of-the-art audio facility.
According to a release, the collage recently updated its audio facility with the latest analog and digital components, including the Flock Audio PATCH XT digitally controlled, all-analog patch bays into the recording studio. “The PATCH System Series is a digitally controlled, 100% analog patch bay routing solution for professional audio environments, adding new learning opportunities for students,” they said.
“Whether dreaming of producing music, mastering live sound, or launching a podcast, ‘The Art of Sound Design’ certificate at Casper College will provide the hands-on training and technical expertise students need,” said sound design and theater instructor Larry Burger in the release.
The certificate program consists of 22 credit hours gives students hands-on experience in audio acoustics and studio tech, live sound production, podcast and broadcast editing, industry standards and compliance, and entrepreneurship, they said.
