A young, outdoor, and animal-loving Rylee Fountain is looking for your help to become the title of Jr. Ranger, win $20,000, learn from outdoor expert Jeff Corwin, and be featured in the Ranger Rick Magazine.
All of those things would be awesome for Miss Rylee, and she’s sitting in a good position for it to happen, but she needs your votes to keep her dream alive.
Since she was a young girl, you could bet she was outside with her dad, Jay. Hunting, fishing, camping, or playing with one of her beloved pets. Today, as a 9-year-old, Rylee still loves the outdoors and loves playing with her dogs, cats, and pet snake Rosie.
Just this past weekend, Rylee was her dad’s teammate in the first Wyoming Walleye Stampede event of the year at Glendo. Speaking about his daughter, you can tell how proud a dad he is of his little girl.
Rylee has a rare kind of heart—the kind that notices and cares about every living thing, no matter how small. She’s drawn to animals of all kinds, from bugs and spiders to snakes and sea life, not with fear but with curiosity and excitement. Bright, energetic, and always asking questions, she loves learning how creatures live, where they belong, and what they need to survive.
More than anything, Rylee wants to protect them. She believes every critter has a purpose and deserves to be safe, and she treats them with a kindness that stands out. Her bubbly, outgoing spirit and genuine care for the world around her make it clear—she’s not just learning about animals, she’s already becoming someone who will help protect them.
Rylee is still near the top of her age bracket in the Quarter-Final Round of the competition, and you can help her stay there. Vote for Rylee to become the 2026 Jr. Ranger while supporting a great cause!
