A South Korean manufacturer of school uniforms launched a task force to explore inter-Korean economic cooperation possibilities, including returning to North Korea to create production facilities and employ its people.
Hyungji Elite, which produces school uniforms for clients in South Korea, China and Japan, plans to hire North Koreans if inter-Korean cooperation becomes possible, a company spokesperson told NK News on Wednesday.
“We will thoroughly prepare to establish a school uniform supply chain across the Korean Peninsula, drawing on the data and expertise we have accumulated over many years, so that the uniforms worn by students, who will shape the
