As part of the main phase of Tilekteshtik-2026 — Kyrgyzstan border operation, units from security agencies and cooperating government bodies gathered in Batken region for formation and deployment. The office of Presidential Envoy to the region reported.
Participants were shown specialized vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, service dogs and other technical equipment used to protect the state border.
The units were then deployed to designated areas of duty.
The joint Tilekteshtik-2026 — Kyrgyzstan operation is being conducted to ensure state border security, strengthen cooperation among law enforcement agencies and enable a rapid response to developments in border areas, the statement says.
