Aida Kasymalieva has been relieved of her duties as Permanent Representative of Kyrgyzstan to the United Nations in New York due to transfer to another position. The presidential press service reported.

According to the service, President Sadyr Japarov signed the relevant decree.

Ayaz Baetov has been appointed to the post. On September 8, he was relieved of his duties as Minister of Justice due to transfer to another position.

Aida Kasymalieva had served as Kyrgyzstan’s Permanent Representative to the UN since December 2021.

Ayaz Baetov had served as Minister of Justice since October 2021. He holds a Doctor of Law degree. Prior to his appointment as minister, he worked in the fields of international and national law, taught at universities, and held positions in international organizations.

Following his departure, Almaz Aiylchiev was appointed Acting Justice Minister. His candidacy will be submitted to the Zhogorku Kenesh for approval.
