The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a working visit, the Cabinet of Ministers’ press service reported.
The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan was welcomed at Issyk-Kul International Airport by Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan.
On June 23, the two sides will hold the 12th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Bilateral Cooperation. The meeting will be co-chaired by Adylbek Kasymaliev and Abdulla Aripov.
Key issues of Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan cooperation are expected to be discussed during the talks, including trade and economic ties, investment projects, transport, energy, and other areas of interaction.
Following the meeting, a number of bilateral documents are expected to be signed.
