The Manchester Police has confirmed that the body of the woman found in a cardboard barrel at her home on Wednesday is that of 72-year-old Primrose Hall from Grays Hill Mews on Villa Road in Mandeville.
She was reported as missing since Sunday, June 7, after last being seen at home at about 8 AM.
On Tuesday, the Mandeville Police asked the public to help locate her.
A day later, Hall’s body was discovered in her home.
Friends and family were searching the house when they found her face down in a barrel filled with clothes.
The police say no evidence of foul play has been detected in her death.
Additionally, there were no signs of forced entry at the dwelling.
The police theorise that she fell into the barrel while searching for an item and suffocated to death.
