The Jamaica Constabulary, JCF, promoted ten of its members to senior ranks on Thursday.
The promotions occurred at a ceremony at the police commissioner’s office on Old Hope Road in Kingston.
Leading the cohort of new promotions is head of the JCF’s Corporate Services, DeVaughn Colquhoun.
He’s been promoted to Assistant Commissioner of Police.
Also promoted to senior ranks are Adrian Hamilton and Arielle Brown Blake, both now donning the title of Senior Superintendents.
Chairman of the Police Federation, Arlene McBean, moves from the post of Sergeant to Assistant Superintendent.
She’s joined by Robert Bailey, who’s also risen to the post of Assistant Superintendent.
Promoted to Superintendents are Keisha Oakley and Alfred McDonald.
Howard Wilks, Nicholas Shorter and Arlene Robinson Johnson have all been promoted to Deputy Superintendents.
