Tagernarine Chanderpaul, 43, and Justin Greaves, 15, will resume the battle for West Indies when the first Test against Bangladesh continues in Mirpur at 11 pm Jamaica time on Thursday.
The West Indies will pick up from their overnight 134 for 4, replying to the home team’s 272 all out.
Opener John Campbell has so far led the Windies batting with 54, his sixth Test half century, on a day when rain and bad light again affected play.
The Jamaican says given the weather conditions, batting was a bit unpredictable, so he had to be circumspect in his approach.
Earlier, Bangladesh suffered a batting collapse, losing their last five wickets for 19 runs to be dismissed for 272.
Vice-captain Jomel Warrican was the chief destroyer with 5 for 53 while there were two apiece for Shamar Joseph and debutant Joshua Bishop.
Shadman Islam, who was 99 not out at the end of day one, completed his century before he was dismissed for 105.
Campbell says despite losing four wickets, the West Indies still have enough quality to bat deep into the third day.
