Defending champions Excelsior High are through to the quarter-finals of the ISSA/Manning Cup Competition following a convincing 3-1 win over St. Catherine High at Stadium East on Thursday.

It was Excelsior’s second win in Group 1 in the round of 16, enough to take them into the last 8.

Walker Cup champions Kingston College and Calabar are also through from Group 2.

Calabar they defeated Vauxhall 3-1 while KC are leading Camperdown High 6-1 deep into the second half.

Elsewhere Mona High crushed St. Georges College 8-1 and Staths defeated Wolmer’s 2-1.

In DaCosta Cup action favourites Glenmuir High beat Kemps Hill 3-nil, Clarendon College and Dinthill ended 1-all, so too did Munro and McGrath.

Cornwall stopped Frome 3-nil, Manchester turned back champions Steths 2-1 while Ocho Rios and Garvey Maceo drew 2-all.
