Benghazi – The Benghazi branch of the Anti-Illegal Migration Authority deported 62 Sudanese migrants on Thursday evening. The group included women and children. The operation was carried out on orders from Major General Salah Mahmoud Al-Khafaifi, the head of the authority.

The deportation followed established legal and health procedures. Among those deported were several women living with HIV. Three of them received care in line with official health and humanitarian guidelines and in coordination with relevant agencies.

Authorities say the deportations are part of ongoing efforts to regulate the status of undocumented migrants and enforce deportations according to current standards and regulations.
