Private car travel to North Korea will be off limits to Russian and other foreign citizens despite the new road link between the two countries, according to a Russian tourism association, with travelers having to rely on organized bus tours.

The Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) outlined the restrictions in a statement to NK News on Friday, just days after Russia and North Korea held a ceremony marking the completion of their first road bridge across the Tumen River.
