President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov met with heads of Russian regions in Cholpon-Ata. The parties discussed the development of interregional ties, expansion of trade and the launch of joint projects.

The head of state called the establishment of joint ventures in industry, pharmaceuticals and agricultural processing promising areas of cooperation.

Kyrgyzstan invited Russian partners to use the opportunities of the High Technology Park and the Tamchy Special Financial and Investment Territory to implement projects in digitalization and modern technologies.

Sadyr Japarov noted that the Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum and the interregional conference have become platforms for direct dialogue between authorities, businesses and regions of the two countries.

Russian governors expressed interest in projects in the agro-industrial sector, IT and tourism.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed readiness to strengthen direct contacts between entrepreneurs and expand long-term economic cooperation.
