World Bank Group Country presents credentials to Foreign Minister of Mongolia

AKIPRESS.COM – World Bank Group Country Manager for Mongolia Victoria Delmon presented her Letter of Credence to Minister of Foreign Affairs Battsetseg Batmunkh on August 6, Montsame reported.

The two sides exchanged views on the current state and future directions of cooperation between Mongolia and the World Bank Group.

Victoria Delmon expressed the World Bank Group’s commitment to working closely with the government of Mongolia to support sustainable development, economic diversification, private sector growth, and the strengthening of the investment climate.

Since joining the World Bank as its 155th member in 1991, Mongolia has implemented over 100 projects and programs across various socio-economic sectors, including energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and health.

The country has received more than USD 1.2 billion in concessional loans and over USD 170 million in grant funding with the organization’s support.
