ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Showers and storms could bring pockets of heavy rain to western and southwestern New Mexico this evening before drier weather returns by midnight.
For Sunday, monsoon moisture will stay in place and bring scattered afternoon and evening showers and storms, with the best rain chances in the western half of the state.
High temperatures should reach the lower 90s in Albuquerque.
By a few isolated heavy storms could still develop over western New Mexico, while rain chances will start to drop in most areas, especially in eastern New Mexico.
