Prayagraj: Prof Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) State University has introduced an online mechanism through which students dissatisfied with their results can obtain scanned copies of their evaluated answer sheets without having to visit the university campus. Students can apply online through the university’s official website by depositing a fee of Rs 300. After the application is received, the concerned answer booklet will be scanned and sent to the student’s registered email address within three to four days. University officials said that o if a student has doubts regarding the fairness of evaluation, the university has also provided the option of challenge evaluation on payment of Rs 2,500.Under the challenge evaluation process, the answer booklet will be reassessed independently by two separate examiners. If the re-evaluation leads to an increase or decrease of 20% or more in marks, it will be treated as a serious error in the original evaluation. In such cases, the student will receive a partial refund of Rs 1,500 from the fee deposited for challenge evaluation. Besides this, the examiner found responsible for the major discrepancy may be barred from participating in future evaluation work. Applications for challenge evaluation related to the even semester examinations were accepted till June 20.
