Beech Street Transfer Station closed June 3-8

CASPER, Wyo. — Caper Area Transit, operated by the City of Casper, announced that on Wednesday, June 3, the Beech Street Transfer Station will be temporarily relocated to the old Commissary Mall parking lot, located at the northwest corner of 2nd and Kimball.

A release from the city says that the Beech Street Transfer Station itself will be closed, beginning at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3 through 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 6. The Transfer Station will resume regular operations at 6:30 a.m. on Monday, June 8.

The release says that the temporary relocation is due to the closure of Beech Street between Collins Drive and Second Street for the annual Nicolaysen Art Museum Nic Fest.

Hours of operation and service areas for the Fixed Rout (LINK) and Dial-A-Ride Service (ASSIST) will remain the same. Riders may call the following phone numbers for service or assistance.

Fixed Route (Casper Area LINK) – 235-8287

Dial-A-Ride Service (ASSIST) – 235-8273

“Casper Area Transit encourages everyone to enjoy this long-standing community event,” the release states.
