THANKS TO OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS
CASPER, Wyo. — Tuesday is here, which means it’s only one day away from the middle of week! Congratulations on making it this far. There’s a ton going on in Casper today, and you’re invited to all of it. From Tiny Tots Storytime to the ART 321 Clay Collective, Dungeons & Dragons and more, this is what’s happening Tuesday in the Oil City.
The Oil City Daily Event Guide is sponsored by Central Wyoming Fair & Rodeo.
It’s never too early to show your kiddos the magic of storytelling. The Natrona County Library knows this, which is why it’s offering its weekly Tiny Tots StoryTime for babies or toddlers getting ready to read.
“Together you will discover the joy of songs, finger plays, simple books and bouncing rhymes,” the event page states. “The Natrona County Library’s StoryTime: TinyTots for babies and toddlers is held each Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Main Library. In addition to being fun, free outings for children and families, TinyTots instills the joy of reading at a young age and helps prepare children for school.”
Happening at 10 a.m.
Theraexpressions Meditation is hosting a Slow Flow Yoga Class on Tuesday afternoon, beginning at 5:30 p.m. It’s just $15 per person.
“There is a pace where movement becomes prayer,” the event page states. “Not exercise. Not performance. Not choreography. But a quiet conversation between breath and body and something deeper that lives beneath both. This is the space of slow flow. We move gently here. Deliberately. Reverently. Each transition unhurried. Each posture entered like stepping into still water. And within the slowness, the nervous system softens, the mind quiets and awareness widens so that the movement becomes meditative. Restorative moments are woven throughout. Pausing to where the body is supported, the breath is spacious and sensation is allowed to echo inward. Not to stretch further but to feel deeper. Not to achieve but to listen. In Slow Flow Yoga, you discover: presence anchored in the body breath guiding awareness inward subtle strength without strain emotional and energetic clearing a felt sense of inner connection Not through intensity but through intimacy with each moment of being. Slow flow is a remembering that your body is not separate from your spirit. That awareness lives in muscle, fascia and breath as much as in thought. That devotion can look like moving slowly enough to feel your own sacredness. All levels of yogis welcome Come to move. Come to feel. Come to return inward.”
