One suspect in custody after Saturday night shooting in Little Rock leaves man dead

One person is dead and a suspect is in custody following a late Saturday night shooting, according to the Little Rock Police Department.

The names of the victim or the suspect were not provided by the police department in a post made on social media Sunday morning.

The post said that officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex located at 11311 Mara Lynn Road around 11:09 p.m. As the officers arrived at the location, dispatch told them that an adult male gunshot victim had been located about a half mile east, at 10724 W. Markham St.

An ambulance transported the victim to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
