CASPER, Wyo. — The Converse County Sheriff’s Office will hold a “sealed bid” Abandoned Vehicle Sale on June 24, 2025, from 9 a.m. to noon.
That’s according to a notice from the CCSO, which states that the sale is pursuant to Wyoming Statute 31-13-112e.
The sale fee for each vehicle purchased will be $60 and all vehicles are valued under $2,000. They will have a minimum bid of $1.
Bidders may arrive 30 minutes prior to the sale to look at the vehicles. Registered owners or lienholders who failed to retrieve their vehicle prior to the sale are not eligible to bid.
“All sales are final, and funds will be due immediately upon the conclusion of the sale,” the notice states. “Successful bidders may retrieve their vehicle following the completion of the sale, and until 4 p.m.”
Remaining vehicles must be removed the following day between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
All vehicles must be retrieved with a flatbed truck, trailer or tow truck.
