PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema thanked residents of Katuba for attending a meeting with him and urged them to vote for the UPND in the Aug. 13, 2026 general elections.
President Hichilema said the turnout “translates into more votes for us” and pledged that his government “will not relent” and “will not give up on you our people.”
He said a vote for the UPND would ensure continued delivery of roads, health facilities, agricultural support, jobs, and business opportunities.
“We, however call on you to go and vote for us this August so that more roads, more health facilities, more Agriculture support, more jobs, more business opportunities can continue trickling down to all of you,” Hichilema said.
The President also urged voters to “reject those who believe in continuing with their panga agenda and many more other bad vices.”
“Twalumba nobakwesu. God Bless Katuba,” he said.
