PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has assured the people of Kaputa District in Northern Province of more development, including roads and a hospital.
Following a meeting with residents, President Hichilema said Kaputa is home to everyone and condemned the recent killing of a UPND supporter.
“The recently recorded killing of a fellow citizen who believed in the UPND vision by those who don’t support divergent views will never ever happen again. We send our sincere condolences once more to the family and may his soul continue to rest in peace,” he said.
The President thanked the people of Kaputa for attending the meeting in large numbers.
“Thank you very much ba Kaputa district for coming in thousands to our meeting today. Your continued support for us, will continue to lead to more development,” he said.
He pledged: “We will do the roads here. We will build the hospital. We will do more and more for Kaputa.”
President Hichilema urged residents to vote for the UPND on 13th August, 2026.
“Mwebena Kaputa. Mwe ba Twabwa, twatotela sana. Pa 13th August, 2026 go and vote for the UPND. May God Bless Kaputa District of Northern Province,” he added.
