Australian-listed uranium explorer, Atomic Eagle, says ongoing drilling at its Muntanga Uranium Project in southern Zambia has extended known uranium mineralisation beyond the existing resource, boosting the project’s long-term development prospects.

In its June 2026 quarterly activities report, the company said exploration at the Chisebuka deposit continued to return encouraging results, with drilling expanding two higher-grade uranium zones and confirming the deposit remains open for further resource growth.

The company said the south-west higher-grade zone had now been extended to about 830 metres by 400 metres, while the northern higher-grade zone has grown to approximately 900 metres by 600 metres.

Latest drilling also confirmed the continuity of uranium mineralisation between the south-west higher-grade zone and the previously defined resource area, a development expected to support future resource expansion.

Among the most significant drill intercepts reported during the quarter were 12.7 metres grading 673 parts per million (ppm) equivalent uranium oxide, 24 metres at 448ppm and 15.9 metres at 361ppm, alongside several other mineralised intervals.

Chisebuka currently hosts an inferred mineral resource of 19.9 million tonnes grading 220ppm uranium oxide, containing an estimated 9.7 million pounds of uranium.

Atomic Eagle said drilling during the quarter targeted areas outside the existing resource boundary, with results reinforcing the potential to increase the project’s mineral inventory.

The company has since launched a 12-hole reverse circulation drilling programme spanning about 900 metres, with diamond drilling and metallurgical test work planned in the next phase of exploration.
