Uzbekistan Sees 8.3% Growth in Melon and Watermelon Production

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has recorded an increase in the production of melon and watermelon crops.

According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, from January to June 2025, all categories of farms in the country produced 369.3 thousand tons of these crops, marking an 8.3% increase compared to the same period last year.

Of the total output, 123.5 thousand tons came from farmer households, 235.7 thousand tons from dehkan and home gardens, and 10.1 thousand tons were produced by agricultural organizations.
