Fire Breaks Out at Auto Gas Filling Station in Kashkadarya Region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 5 August at 22:20, a fire broke out at an auto gas filling station in the Oltindala mahalla of Kukdala District, Kashkadarya Region, during the transfer of liquefied propane from a tanker truck into a storage tank, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan reported.

Five firefighting and rescue crews quickly arrived at the scene, localizing the blaze by 22:30 and fully extinguishing it by 22:50.

As a result of the fire, a tanker truck and a 10‑cubic‑meter propane storage tank were damaged.

The tanker driver sustained minor burns.

Regional and district officials from the Ministry of Emergency Situations also arrived at the site of the incident.
