Your Tuesday, March 10 Guide: Five things to do in the Oil City

CASPER, Wyo. — It’s Tuesday once again, and with that comes a slew of events and activities happening all throughout town. From Tiny Tots to the Harlem Globetrotters, this is everything happening Tuesday in the Oil City.

It’s never too early to show your kiddos the magic of storytelling. The Natrona County Library knows this, which is why it’s offering its weekly Tiny Tots StoryTime for babies or toddlers getting ready to read.

“Together you will discover the joy of songs, finger plays, simple books and bouncing rhymes,” the event page states. “The Natrona County Library’s StoryTime: TinyTots for babies and toddlers is held each Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Main Library. In addition to being fun, free outings for children and families, TinyTots instills the joy of reading at a young age and helps prepare children for school.”

The Nicolaysen Art Museum is hosting a Teen Craft Night on Tuesday night, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. It’s a Ragdoll workshop and its $25 for members, $35 for not-yet-members.

“Hey Teens!” the event page states. “Come put together and decorate a rag doll of your very own! We’ll be learning some basic hand sewing skills and simple sewing machine use. Space is limited, so sign up early to reserve your spot.”

Are you a geek? Do you drink? Well then, by golly, is there an event for you! Mountain Hops Brewhouse Downtown is hosting Geeks Who Drink Trivia Nights every Tuesday in Downtown Casper. Beginning at 7 p.m., this trivia night will test your knowledge on a variety of subjects.

“Join us EVERY Tuesday night for Small Batch Trivia presented by Quizmaster Doug,” the event page states. “Feel free to call to reserve a spot or walk-ins are welcome.”

WyOMing Yoga & Wellness is hosting A Breathwork Quest: Rebirth, Renewal, and Transformation class on Tuesdays from 7 to 10 p.m. It’s $25 per person and bringing a sleep mask, some blankets, and a journal is recommended.

“In this session, Hannah will guide you through a series of intentional breathing techniques, rhythmic patterns, and breath holds designed to open the body and expand consciousness,” the event page states. “This style of breathwork supports physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual well-being by directly influencing the nervous system and the body’s internal rhythms.”

Everybody’s favorite basketball team is back in Casper and they’re playing at The Ford Wyoming Center on Tuesday night. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com and this is one show that you do not want to miss.
