William R. Sprague
White River Junction, VT – William R. Sprague, 63, died Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Dartmouth Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
He was born on August 4, 1963, in Lebanon, NH, the son of Paul and Margaret (Renden) Sprague. He attended school in Hartford and graduated from Hartford High School in 1981. After graduation, he worked for Purity Supreme and Shaw’s stores in West Lebanon, NH.
He loved old black and white films and was an avid collector of them. He also loved the Red Sox and their history.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church in White River Junction, VT.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Peter, and aunt Velma Sprague.
He is survived by an aunt, Patricia Sprague of White River Junction, VT and other extended relatives.
At his request, there will be no service and a private burial will be held in Hartford Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the United Methodist Church, PO Box 1333, White River Junction, VT 05001.
