Two construction workers airlifted after being electrocuted in Rankin County

RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Two construction workers in Rankin County were airlifted to a local hospital after they were electrocuted.

According to the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred near the intersection of Highway 25 and Highway 43 around 1:15 p.m. on November 3, 2025.

Pedestrian hit, killed on Terry Road in Jackson

Deputies said one worker was breathing but was severely injured. A second worker was also electrocuted but sustained minor injuries.

An AirCare helicopter was dispatched to the scene and transported the two patients to a Jackson hospital.
