Much-needed rain is finally sweeping across central Iowa, making for a soggy start to the morning commute. Drivers should avoid cruise control and factor in some extra time around rush hour, as roads will likely be slippery. As of 6:30 a.m., there are no incidents to report in central Iowa, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation.
