A man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries following a shooting in Hartford on Tuesday.

Officers were dispatched to the area of 150 Nelson St. on a ShotSpotter notification around 7:55 p.m. on Tuesday, according to Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police Department.

Arriving officers located evidence of gunfire at the scene, Boisvert said.

As the officers were investigating the incident, an area hospital reported a walk-in gunshot victim, according to Boisvert. The victim, a man in his 30s, was suffering from a gunshot wound that was not life-threatening, Boisvert said.
