ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (WCAX) – Police on Wednesday identified a suspect in a St. Johnsbury shooting earlier this month and say he remains at large.
Vermont State Police say they have an arrest warrant for Ladjuan Anthony Guichard, 27, of Dorchester, Massachusetts, for attempted second-degree murder.
It happened on May 6 on Concord Avenue. Police say Guichard shot Adam Belliveau, 30, of St. Johnsbury. They say Belliveau continues to recover from his injuries.
There were no immediate details on what prompted the shooting.
Guichard is described as 5 feet 6, 225 pounds, with dark brown/black hair and a beard. His last known whereabouts were in Dorchester on May 9. Police say he should be considered dangerous and potentially armed.
