MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Deputies in Panola County, Mississippi, say one man is dead and another is charged with murder after an assault on Thursday.
Deputies were called to an assault in progress at a house on Butler Road, where they found Michael Wayne Ford, 47, dead in the driveway.
According to a call received by the 911 center, the assailant was named as Jamichael Ford.
Deputies found Jamichael Ford as he was coming out of the house, and arrested him.
He was taken to the Panola County Detention Center and charged with first-degree murder.
