Stanley Libby Jr.

FREEPORT – Stanley L. Libby Jr., 70, passed peacefully on June 30, 2026, at Hawthorne House in Freeport with his loving family at his side.

He was the son of Stanley L. and Marion S. Libby. Stanley retired from Parkview Hospital as Operations Director.

He is survived by his partner, Sharon Nelson; sisters Linda Hartwell, Deanna Guimond (Mikal); children Jamie Powers, Virginia Libby, Samuel Libby; nephews, a niece; grandchildren and cousins.

We will always remember Stan’s love of life, his generous easy going spirit, and his love for family and friends. A special thanks to Hawthorne House and Northern Lights Hospice.

A graveside service will be held on July 12 at 3 p.m. at Webster Cemetery in Freeport.
