Bayman Liquor and the Cotter Area Chamber of Commerce recently unveiled a newly painted exterior at the Bayman Liquor building at the corner of 62B and Harding Boulevard. The project is designed to reflect Cotter’s community brand and serve as a visual gateway into downtown and the River District.
Located at one of the city’s main entrances, the building now features artwork by Dennis Windell that highlights Cotter’s visual identity in a prominent, high-traffic location.
The project also marks the first collaboration between the Cotter Branding Team and a local business, creating a new model for public-facing partnerships that promote local destinations while reinforcing the community’s identity.
Owners Bob and Kriss Yunker said they were excited to be part of the effort.
“This collaboration is a meaningful way for Bayman Liquor to invest in Cotter’s identity and support the continued visibility of the River District at one of the city’s main entrances,” said Kriss Yunker.

Windell said the goal was to create artwork that captures the city’s character while making a memorable first impression.
“The goal of the artwork was to create something distinctive, welcoming, and true to the Cotter brand while giving visitors a clear visual cue that they are arriving somewhere special,” said artist Dennis Windell.
Windell worked alongside Cotter Brand lead graphic artist Tim Rails and the Bayman Liquor team to incorporate the business’s new logo while tying it into the city’s overall branding.
According to chamber leaders, the collaboration demonstrates how partnerships with local businesses can strengthen Cotter’s sense of place and create a more welcoming experience for residents and visitors alike.
