Bowling Green — Margaret “Peggy” Elaine Cahill, 90, of Bowling Green, passed away on August 4, 2026 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky. The Indiana, PA native was the daughter of the late Anna Yasco Pavlosky and John Pavlosky. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, George Pavlosky.

Mrs. Cahill graduated from the Washington Hospital School of Nursing and went on to serve as a registered nurse until her retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. In 2012, she received the Sophia Award, which honors parishioners for a lifetime of Christian stewardship.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Howard Cahill; four daughters, Rhonda Humphries (Andy), Reneé Pavlosky (Tony), Kelly Cahill (Clint), and Karin Flora (Mel); eight grandchildren, Krista Neal (Jake), Christopher Humphries, Kayla Humphries (Banks), Corey Simpson (Jamie), Tyler Simpson (Justine), Alex Kreutzer (Maegan), Gregory Kreutzer (Rachel), and Zachary Flora (Taylor); six great-grandchildren, Andrew Neal, Corrine Neal, Jack Neal, Peyton Simpson, Dallas Simpson, and Ember Simpson.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
