A Tuesday morning shooting left a 34-year-old Wynne man dead, according to the Arkansas State Police.
Wynne police responded around 11:50 a.m. to a report of a shooting in the area of C Street and Fitzhugh Circle and found Javon Beal shot, according to a state police news release. The address is a residential area about 2 miles south of U.S. 64 in north Wynne.
Beal reportedly died of his wounds at an area hospital. The release didn’t identify any suspects in the shooting.
Police Department officials asked state police to investigate the killing, the release states.
