Formula One’s Grand Prix Plaza will have new offerings when it reopens to guests on Jan. 8.
Grand Prix Plaza, located on the northeast corner of Harmon Avenue and Koval Lane, is a four-level, 300,000-square-foot space that is the hub of race action during the Las Vegas Grand Prix. After the race, it is converted into a year-round attraction for F1 fans.
The space shut down for the year on Oct. 4 to allow crews to begin setting up for this year’s Las Vegas Grand Prix, scheduled for Nov. 19-21.
Grand Prix Plaza’s F1 Drive — the official F1 karting experience, F1 X — the interactive experience, and F1 Simulators will all return to the space next year, as will F1 Hub, its retail store, and Fuel & Fork, its restaurant and lounge.
Starting Jan. 8, the space will also include Kid Karts and an F1-themed indoor playground to let younger fans experience F1 firsthand. Kid Karts will be open to children who are at least 48 inches tall, and it will offer family sprint sessions, allowing kids and adults to race against each other, with karts set at lower speeds.
F1 Drive will feature a new track layout and karts with new steering wheels with functionality to make passing karts easier.
“Grand Prix Plaza is more than a gateway to F1 – it is a year-round commitment to the Las Vegas community,” said Brendan Dolby, vice president of commercial for Las Vegas Grand Prix Inc. “With new experiences for younger guests and even more ways to engage with the sport, we’re continuing to create a destination where fans of all ages can experience the energy, innovation and heritage of Formula 1 firsthand.”
Grand Prix Plaza will also feature three private event spaces designed to host corporate gatherings, team-building events and other celebrations.
— The Boardroom: This third-floor space can host up to 50 people and includes a boardroom table with seats for up to 20 people. The space will include F1 memorabilia, including show cars, team helmets and racing suits.
— The Circuit Suite: This space can fit between 10 and 30 guests and will feature two F1 simulators, televisions and furnishings to accommodate corporate meetings, private race watch parties and other events.
— The Podium Suite: A flexible event space that can hold up to 40 people and features F1-inspired designs. The room is aimed at hosting birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties and other private celebrations.
Tickets for the 2027 Grand Prix Plaza season will go on sale in the coming weeks.
