Bowling Green — Devonnia “Bo” Elaine Simpson, age 71, of Woodburn passed on Friday, June 26, 2026 at the Med Center of Bowling Green. She was born on October 11, 1954 in Bowling Green to the late Hubert Lee Simpson and Audrey Faye Harris Simpson.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Dennis and Doug Simpson.

Devonnia graduated from Warren Central, class of 1973. She was employed at Holley Carburetor and Fruit of the Loom. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and puzzle books.

She is survived by her two sisters, Rebecca (Ronald) Brown and Melissa (John) Lindsey; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and several uncles and aunts whom she loved dearly.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 1st, 2026 at Noon with burial at Old Union Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with visitation prior from 10:00am until time of service.
