GRETNA, NEBRASKA (NewsDakota)- Carrington has a regional champion.
Paxton Harrington competed in the Region 8 Junior Olympics in Gretna, Nebraska over the weekend and won the region in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:01.26, nearly ten full seconds faster than his time in the USATF North Dakota meet. Harrington is currently ranked sixth in the country. He also took third in the 110 meter hurdles. Carrington’s Krew Wolsky also qualified for nationals in the 15-16 year old division of the 400 meter hurdles.
Region 8 is represented by athletes from North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Harrington and Wolsky, who both represent Team Nodak, will now compete at nationals in Norwalk, California on Monday, July 27th.
