Boy taken to hospital after Raleigh stabbing off Creech Road, police say

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Police in Raleigh are looking for suspects after a juvenile was stabbed and taken to a hospital Tuesday afternoon, officers said.

The stabbing was reported around 4:35 p.m. in the 2800 block of Dillmark Court, along Creech Road, north of Sanderford Road, according to the Raleigh Police Department.

When officers arrived, they found a boy with at least one stab wound, police told CBS 17. The boy was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police said they did not know the extent of his injuries or his condition.

The scene, which borders Creech Road, was still active with several police officers as of 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said the stabbing was an isolated incident.
